It's Time For the FKD Annual Post!!

Hi there!

Remember me, I used to blog a loooooong time ago :)

Things are pretty much SSDD here at Casa de FluffyKnitterDeb - still knitting, mostly socks, and still administering Sock Knitters Anonymous over on Ravelry and with over THIRTEEN THOUSAND MEMBERS (we're the fourth largest group on Ravelry!) it's like a full time job!

I just thought I'd pop in and say hi because I do miss all my blog friends and I KNOW y'all miss the handsomest kitty on the Net!

So once again, I bring you my friend Tina's feet wearing her latest "Christmas in February Socks".

The pattern is called Chuncho and it's a super fun knit! As you may notice, I've discovered colorwork since we last visited! Imagine, this Florida girl can't get enough of that colorwork stuff - who woulda thought THAT would ever happen! Here's an off the hoof pic:

Of course even if it's only once a year, a FKD post wouldn't be complete without a little kitty beefcake!

The P-Man has a birthday next week - he'll be 7 on July 10th, doesn't time fly!

Come on over to SKA and say hello cause I miss y'all!

See ya next July! :)

HELLO! *waves*

As you know I've rediscovered SKA and so you won't be getting rid of me any time soon!

Hi Deb,
It's nice to see you blog. I love the P man. He looks so comfortable on your bed.
SKA is a fun place to hang out. I'm trying hard to keep up and complete some socks. I think it is the sweater bug that bite me last fall that slowed me down.
Colorwork is so beautiful and you always pick the best combinations of colors for your patterns.
Hope you start blogging more than once a year. Hugs, Carol

Wow -- what socks! You are amazing and the P-man is still one of the most gorgeous critters goddess ever put on this earth. I'm still plodding along with plain vanilla socks and this and that. But my biggest knitting excitement is that I have the back and .6 of the right front of the Morris Cardigan (free Rowan pattern) done. It's awesome cables :)

Glad I was sitting down when i saw FKD alive in my google reader. Stay well and give yourself a big oll' hug from me.

Great to hear from you, and to know that the P-man is fine, too. Two of our "pride" are seven - Victoria's birthday is in early September, and Casper's in late November - so I understand life with a middle-aged feline.

Those are a-maz-ing socks! Color me impressed!

Debi said...

I beg your pardon, middle aged indeed! The P-Man will live to at least 25 so he's barely in his teens! :)

Love those socks!

And Happy Birthday to the P-man and many more to come.

Imagine my disbelief when I saw that google reader was telling me you'd posted. But I'm so glad I trusted it.
P-Man!!! Happy birthday guy...your's is one day before mine, remember?
(and tell your momma we miss her - and you - whole bunches and need more frequent red kitty pics)
(((hugs)))

I haven't read blogs in quite a while, and just happened to go to my Google Reader, and your blog happened to still be in my list, and BOOM, here I am at your new post! Welcome back. And thanks for making me feel even more guilty for not blogging in a while. :-D
I don't know how you find time to keep up the SKA forum, but man am I glad you do. It wouldn't be the same without you. Thanks!

It's good to "see" you!

(I'm so late the P-Man's birthday has come and gone ;) I hope you gave him some tuna.)

I'm not even sure why I happened to stop by. LOL.

Tigger and P-Man must be communicating across the miles. Tigger is 17 and doing great. He's showing the years a little more every week, but who isn't!

All the best to you and the P-Man.

I'm woefully behind in reading the blogs I subscribe to (lots of "life" getting in the way), though it was nice to finally get caught up on yours, and great to hear that you are still cheerfully knitting. Those Christmas in February socks look great!

Don't feel bad; I only read blogs about once a year these days anyway. :-)

Great socks!!!

You have very creative minds and P-Man is a great inspiration. You made such a cool stuff out of these yarns, totally cool. That's a new sort of twist. Congratulations for that. Looking forward for your unique posts. Keep it up.

There are many posts that mean anything which is meaningless, but your post is very different, it is very amazing and is very unmatchable, I enjoyed reading it very much.

Top Reasons for Slow Website Loading
Users have long been accustomed to high-speed Internet, so any delays in loading the site negatively affect the conversion. There is data from many studies showing that if the site does not load within 3-4 seconds, then up to 40% of visitors are ready to close

Is Link Building Necessary in 2021?
Link building is a separate SEO direction, the main goal of which is to get the highest quality external links to your resource. Thus, search engines do not perceive your site as suspicious, which leads to an increase in natural traffic and audience engagement.
