Happy New Year to you too Debi. I find your blog to be fun and full of wonderful stitching stuff. I stumbled upon your site this afternoon by searching Google for "Knitting with Beads" and found your wonderful tutorial (Dated Aug 12, 2005) on the subject. It looks to be simple and I’m excited to get started. (Pumpkin was just a little thing back then by the looks of his glamour shot).
I taught myself to knit over the Christmas holiday with the very comprehensive instructions in The Harmony Guides “Knit & Purl” edited by Erika Knight. I’ve completed a very long scarf with knit 1 row and Perl 1 row. With my expansive history with stitching, sewing, quilting and beading and now adding to the hobbies, knitting, (I needed another hobby like I need a hole in the head) I’m looking for something a little more challenging. Thanks so much and I look forward to learning more from your site.
Happy New Year, Stitchie =^..^=
