A personal knitting history and it's baaaaaack!!!

Hello my cheeky monkeys :)

I totally nicked this from Sallee by way of Margene and if the other kewl kids are doing it, who am I to argue?

Actually, it was pretty eye-opening to see all the different aspects of knitting I've done, will do and those few "not unless hell freezes over" techniques, heh.

Consider yourself tagged if you so desire.

Speaking of KIPing, it's that time of year again!! June 9th is WORLD WIDE KNIT IN PUBLIC DAY!!!!

If you check the link, there are lots of WWKIP Day groups from all around the globe getting their needles ready to knit in public! One thing I haven't seen is a button for this year's WWKIP Day so maybe some photoshop owning, talented knitter would be willing to volunteer their button making skills and come up with a cool button we can all put on our blogs?

Let's all get those needles ready and mark your calendars for June 9th and let's ALL KIP from every corner of the globe!!

I'll leave you with a favorite Pumpkin pic....

Don't ya just love that lil P-Man tongue sticking out?

Nothing is cuter than a tongue sticking out.

I am going to try to get over to San Rafael, CA for WWKIP Day.

I did my version of this list and almost everything is bold. Seems too boring to post.

Oh, P-man and his little tongue, so cute. I've been meaning to ask you, since you are in such a temperate climate, what do you do about blocking when you knit with cotton or other fibers?

Carol said...

I knew your list would be very long! P-Man....ahhhhhh

I seriously was going to say exactly what Opal said about it being the cutest picture. My kids both said "Awwww".

I love seeing all the different things that knitter's have and haven't done!

I wonder if knitting in the garden would count as "in public"?

Dang, that's the day I gotta attend an all-day notary seminar to renew my certification. Well, good thing we get an hour for lunch, because that's the only way I'm gonna be able to get my KIP on!

I love the commentary that went along with thrummed knitting!

How do cats manage to sleep in those awkward positions? And they always look so comfortable.
