Today I found the above comment on my blog. This asshat *HAD* to say this. For what? The Good of Mankind? My well being? Pumpkin's? And this weenie had the audacity to do it *anonmyously*. What a he-man!!
Now clearly this man has an inordinately small penis and an even smaller intellect and his comment does not change my life in any way but I fear it is symptomatic of all that is bad on the internet....Why do some feel it is ok to drive by and snipe, saying things they would NEVER have the sack to say face to face?? Why is it ok to break internet appointments without a fair-thee-well, when if the same behavior was exhibited face to face, the offender would be unceremoniously kicked to the curb? Y do we toler8 puter speak? Has it become 2 hard 2 write the word your, and only ur is acceptable? Yikes!!
Many have told me, I write exactly as I sound so my "voice" comes across in posts, emails and IM's and by the same token, I never say or do or promise anything I wouldn't offer in a real time, face to face situation. I wonder how many can say the same or how many find courage in a monitor and keyboard?
And you Mr. Drive-By Snark and Run, I wonder just how disconcerting your visage is that you have to hide behind a machine?
Claudia, no chicken feathers here, just lots of repetition....give me patience :)
Back to knitting tomorrow but before I go, here's yet another adorable picture of the P-Man, cause I'm ornery that way, hehe.....
Yeah you've said it girl!!!
ReplyDeleteGive the P-Man a big hug from me. He's adorable!!!
Hugs to your fur-person, however different he may be from my fur persons. Here's to diversity! And I would understand it if you said my Siamese girls look a bit boney in the face - they just don't have that lovely plush look your boy has. They are MY fur-persons, and I love them, too.
ReplyDeleteKnit if he'll let you!
Barbara
It's obviously a problem with his eyesight. The Pman is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI believe men "pick" on women to hide their own insecurities. "It" must be reaally small.... The pman is way cute!
ReplyDeleteTake that, Asshat!
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, getting nasty comments means that you're now popular! You know, like Wendy popular! LOL Just as I would not allow someone into my home to insult me, so I would not allow this yahoo into your blog. Can you ban him permanently? Dorothy aka Missouri Star
ReplyDeleteDebi,
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna say this because I know you. If this spoken of "asshat" feels he "needs" or "can" pick on someone, who better to drive him in the ground then you, the most articulate person I know. I have only one thing to say to "Asshat"...Just because your head's in the sand won't soften the blow of a genuine ass-kicking... Take care Deb...and just to annoy you, since that's what I do best "Hope 2 B N touch soon. Ur 2 cool!"
~Happy Knitting,
Grasshopper
He's just trying to get your goat...not worth worrying about. Some people have small minds and...
ReplyDeleteI think you pegged him perfectly.
Aw--My comment didn't show up! Bummer, 'cause it was really good, something about the dude being a dick....
ReplyDeleteOh well.I think your kitty is super cute!
You tell him !
ReplyDeleteSome people just amaze me.
Pumpkin is adorable! He has such a sweet face. I don't get why anyone leaves negative comments on blog. If I don't like something on a blog, I surf around to something else!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the RAOK ring!
I think your kitty is adorable.
ReplyDeleteoh and i was going to comment on how cute your cat is! like you wanna hug and cuddle with 'em! so loveable!
ReplyDeleteThat jerk has got a bad case of short man's syndrome and I'm willing to bet he lives with his mother, wears plaid pants and hasn't had a date since 1972!
ReplyDeleteThankfully Pumpkin knows how to conduct himself in a much classier manner than that creep! Delete that guy and block him from your comments....he's not worth the bandwidth!
I think he's just adorable!Hug him for me.
ReplyDeleteJenn
*hugs* to you and your furrbuddy! I think that he is absoluetly adorable!! His face is darling!
ReplyDeleteVery weird. I mean, seriously, why bother? Sorry you had to have a visit from such a grouch. Its your blog, and you can blog how you wanna!
ReplyDeletepumpkin is a real cutie... and that's not because I'm partial to flat faced creatures. Something about marmalade kitties...
ReplyDeletePumpkin is super cute. I hope he didn't hear those nasty comments some ignorant fool had to say. I am sure that he gets plenty of well-deserved loving, though.
ReplyDeleteKristen
*sheesh* What the heck has happened to the basic "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" rule? I mean, really, my 4 year old has that one pretty well mastered.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that matters is that *you* love your little man. He looks like a real sweetie.
I'm thinking that this guy must be blind for sure. Pumpkin looks like he wants to play and get a kiss on his cute cute button nose!
ReplyDeleteNever mind that asshat! Pumpkin is adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh, BTW, I show Pumpkin's pic to my husband and he said he's cute too!
ReplyDeleteI'm just randomly linking from knitting blog to knitting blog and ran across yours. Your cat is awesome and super-cute! Don't listen to the idiot who posted. I've got two maine coons but I love -all- cats.
